A Space Warning From Sun Ra

I think Sun Ra is right and that the earth is out of tune, needs tuning. I sampled this warning in my book Hollywood Forever and when that came out in 2017 it felt mythic and remote. Now it feels urgent and generous. I hear ASAP Rocky’s “Keep it G” when Ra declares that this planet is on the note of G now, and it’s relevant.
